I assume you don't care if it's open-source software or simply freeware, so the freeware group is best for questions like these. It also has more than twice the members.

I completely agree with hprasad74. Registry optimizers are pretty useless. Even if your registry is stuffed full of obsolete entries, the speed impact is practically non-existent. Generally, they do more harm than good.
Spybot is okay, do check with some other tools also if you don't mind installing one or two others. More info here.
"Optimizer": Depends what you mean. Two good tools for removal of junk files (such as temporary files) are nCleaner and CCleaner. Be careful, there's no magical solution. Inform yourself about the removal options. |
